I must admit I haven't been as impressed with a speaker since Altec Laning in 1987. The Focal speakers are constructed with ABS glass impregnated composite, carbon or Kevlar cones and rubber surrounds. Handmade in France they are some of the most impressive sounding speakers you'll hear. Because of thier construction all you have to do to make them the best Marine speakers on the market is liquid tape the wires from terminal to basket. Then if you want them white , paint the plastic part of the grill with plastic paint, and the metal part with appliance paint.
