Ground - 2006/07/01 15:46 Ground is very important in car audio. It won't work without it and a bad one can cause real problems. 12 volts travels backwards so it starts at ground. So your ground connections are more important than your positive. Make sure you have the right wire size and get a good contact to the metal of the car, where possible( when battery is in rear) go to battery.Clean all dirt grease and paint away and get a good lasting connection. In higher end systems ground (all) of your sterio equipment at the same place to help rid any noise. Run a 10 guage wire to the front for all the sources and processors.
